Ardennes Fire Chief Colonel Jérémy Pierlot confirmed that “a large-scale operation is underway. The fire covers the entire surface area of the company, 1,600 square meters. Four hoses and 19 vehicles are in operation. A specialized chemical risk brigade has also arrived. They will assess the situation and evaluate the risks.”
“It’s meticulous and dangerous work,” he added. “It requires a lot of water because we’re having difficulties; there are many flames, it’s intense, and it’s very hot.
