After a careful examination, officials confirmed that the liquid did not present a health hazard. Despite this potentially alarming development, Omar displayed remarkable composure, returning to the stage to finish her speech and declining medical treatment. “Fear and intimidation doesn’t work on me,” she told attendees.
“Every time the president of the United States has chosen to use hateful rhetoric to talk about me and the community that I represent, my death threats skyrocket.”
