The left might want to pump the brakes on their victory laps over that Texas redistricting ruling — at least for now.
The U.S. Supreme Court has stepped in and put a hold on the lower court’s decision striking down Texas’s new redistricting maps. Those maps, passed over the summer, were poised to strengthen Republican prospects and potentially add to the GOP’s congressional seat count in the Lone Star State:
