A local daycare center is under investigation after a 2-year-old child was accidentally left inside a vehicle for several hours. The incident occurred during a routine drop-off, when staff reportedly failed to notice that the toddler had not been taken inside with the rest of the group. It wasn’t until later in the afternoon that another employee discovered the child still inside the parked car.
